We showed up. We poured. Pulped Fiction committed a heist.
May 17th, 2026. Lido Mall, Bengaluru. The Great Indian Brew Festival. Our first ever brew fest, and we went in with eight beers on tap and absolutely no chill whatsoever.
Here's how it went.
Our GIBF 2026 Debut
The Great Indian Brew Festival 2026, hosted by Buzzinon at Lido Mall, is exactly what it sounds like: a beautiful, chaotic, globe-trotting celebration of craft beer. Hundreds of people. Live music. Games. More opinions about hop profiles than any one tent should legally contain.
We didn't know entirely what to expect walking in. What we got was one of the best days we've had since the brewery came to life.
Eight Beers. Every Palate Welcome.
We didn't ease in gently. We brought the whole board.
Eight beers on tap, covering everything from crisp lagers to experimental sours to a mango brew that ended up being the story of the day:

A Room With No Borders
Brew fests have a funny way of erasing geography.
At our tap, we had Mexicans, Australians, and a massive contingent of local Bengaluru beer lovers all standing side by side, talking about the same glass. The Aussies were breaking down hop profiles like it was a wine masterclass. The local crowd was deep in the experimental sour notes of Gose With The Flow. Everyone had a take. Everyone had a second pour.
That's the thing about great craft beer: it's a shared language. You don't need to explain it. You just hand someone a glass and watch their face.
The tent felt less like a tasting session and more like a massive backyard party that happened to have very good beer. The live music helped. The games helped. The fact that we were surrounded by people who genuinely cared about what was in their cup helped most of all.
The Pulped Fiction Situation
We need to talk about what happened to our mango beer.
Pulped Fiction has always had its fans. We knew people loved it. What we did not anticipate was a full-scale, organised, completely unapologetic kegging operation by the GIBF crowd.
Within a few hours, the kegs were dry. Gone. People came back for seconds. Then thirds. Then brought their friends over to prove the flavour was real, as if mango beer required witnesses.
Watching a beer you worked that hard on get completely cleared out by a room full of people who couldn't get enough of it? That's the whole point. That's why we do this.
Pulped Fiction, you absolute menace. We're proud of you.
What GIBF Meant for Flying Fox
Debut events are always a test. You find out very quickly what lands, what people gravitate towards, and whether the energy you've been building in the brewery actually translates to a festival crowd.
For us, GIBF 2026 answered every one of those questions.
The beers worked. The crowd connected. The empty kegs said everything a five-star review couldn't.
Flying Fox showed up to the Great Indian Brew Festival as a first-timer. We left with dry taps, new faces who now know our name, and a very firm opinion about what our next brew fest looks like.
Bigger. Bolder. And with considerably more Pulped Fiction on standby.
