Meet the Brewmaster,
Lynette Pires
She is the force behind Flying Fox’s bold brews. One of India’s first female brewers, she brings over a decade of experience and a rare mix of scientific precision and creative instinct to the craft. Her journey began in Goa, where watching her aunt make wine sparked a fascination with fermentation, eventually leading her to study engineering and analytical biochemistry.
She started her career in R&D, working on upstream fermentation and biochemistry, before finding her calling in beer. From an internship at a German-influenced microbrewery in Bangalore to heading operations at some of the city’s most respected breweries, Lynette went on to lead Craft Brewing at Anheuser Busch In-Bev India. Today, as Masterbrewer at Flying Fox, she has crafted every beer in our portfolio with a focus on experimentation and local ingredients.
When she’s not brewing magic, she’s building community. Lynette is the founder of the Women Brewers Collective, a platform dedicated to empowering women in the brewing industry through mentorship, skill-building, and advocacy.
